Meet Lafayette Pointe's Administrator

We would like to introduce you to our new Administrator, Heather Jewell! Heather comes to us with 20+ years of experience in healthcare.  

"I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I was born and raised in Belmont County. I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. I have worked directly with patients in a variety of different settings. It's very important to me that you know I have an open-door policy. Anytime there is praise, concern, or a problem, I am one phone call away. Whether you are a family member, resident, or staff, I truly want your experience at Lafayette Pointe to not only meet your expectations but exceed your expectations. 



I was inspired to become a LNHA because of my grandparents. I spent a lot of time volunteering at a nursing home throughout high school and fell in love with the atmosphere. I was first drawn to Lafayette Pointe after seeing their daily postings on Facebook. I thought the facility seemed that the whole team truly cared and wanted to make a positive impact, and the staff seemed to be appreciated. Now since starting here, all of my thoughts were proved to be correct. This facility is organized through and through, very friendly, and the atmosphere is amazing. The residents are so happy and cared for. It's exciting to be a part of it. Anyone looking for employment or care should definitely consider this facility.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing cards, watching movies, and shopping. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and we have a beautiful daughter who's turning 19 soon. We enjoy some traveling; we go to Myrtle Beach every year."
