Resident Spotlight - Ruth

We want to wish our resident, Ruth Schoolcraft, a very happy birthday today! Ruth has been with our Lafayette family since 2022 and shared how wonderful her experience has been with us while reflecting on her own time as an STNA.

“I used to be an STNA for 15 years, and I never would have imagined that I would be a resident one day. But this facility has been nothing but great to me. I loved being an STNA; it was a great experience and was so amazing. I never had such a rewarding job. I loved my residents and conversing with them, caring for them, and helping them with their daily tasks. The most heartbreaking part of my job was seeing the residents with no family, no support, and no visitors. I always made a special effort to them to make them smile and feel like they had someone close to them.

Lafayette Pointe is the place to be. This is the #1 nursing home to be at. The staff here are so caring and dedicated. I couldn’t be happier with my choice in a home.”  

We are so happy Ruth is pleased to be with us and has become a part of our everlasting family.
