In the heart of our premier facility, these compassionate individuals pour their energy, love, and expertise into creating a warm and nurturing home. Get to know some of the remarkable caregivers who play a pivotal role in making Lafayette Pointe a place of exceptional care and compassion.

Amy Blevens, ADON

"I always wanted to be a Nurse. I’m in my current position now because I was promoted, and I accepted the challenge to learn and grow. I have been with the company since 2011, and this building is a family environment. My favorite memories here are when we had the Dementia Unit. My motivation to come to work every day is the residents and coworkers, we have great teamwork. I enjoy gardening and decorating in my spare time. And of course, seeing and spending time with my family."

Alison Weikart, LPN

"I wanted to become a Nurse to be able to give more to people; more care, support, and compassion. I was an STNA for years and wanted to advance my career. I have been with Lafayette Pointe for 8 months, and the teamwork here is amazing here. This is a true family environment. I love seeing the residents smile and be happy. I encourage others to work here because we are caring, have a very clean facility, have great teamwork, and pay attention to detail. We are also understanding and compassionate. In my spare time, I like traveling, playing video games, and spending time with my family and dogs."

"I wanted to be an STNA because I enjoy helping people and want to make a difference in other's lives. I have been here at Lafayette Pointe for over five years and are treated like family. We truly give the best care in the area. The staff members are great with teamwork, and we've all become good friends. This company is a 24-7 facility, and everyone plays an important role in our residents' care. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, eating out, and going to shows and casinos."

"I wanted to become a Nurse to take care of people. I have been here for a little over a year, and I love this company; it is the best place to work. This building is a great environment, has wonderful staff, and the residents are so sweet and kind. I love making my residents laugh and hearing stories about their lives. My top priority here is the residents- they make me look forward to coming in. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, kids, and wonderful husband."

"I was an STNA for years and then pursued HRD training. I wanted to challenge myself to learn something new and be good at it. Now at Lafayette Pointe, I was offered a marketing position, and I am excited to learn this too! I believe this building is the best facility I have ever worked at. The support here is outstanding. It is a team environment and there is always someone to reach out to if you need help. We all have a lot of fun together. I recommend this facility for employment and care to my friends and family. We provide premium care, all the departments work very well together, and the Management Team listens and follows through. This has been my favorite job and team! On my days off, I enjoy making candles, cleaning, seeing my family, and snuggling with my four dogs."

"I always wanted to be a Nurse in long-term care. I prefer it over other specialties because it’s more rewarding. I have been with this company for over a year and the Management Team for nursing has been great. They listen and look out for the care of our residents. My favorite memories here are watching the residents sing and dance. I love my job. My residents and coworkers motivate me to come to work every day. I recommend others to work here because this place has become like family to me, with both the residents and staff. The Management Team is always willing to help and listen to us. On my days off, I enjoy riding motorcycles, traveling, and spending time with my granddaughters."
